The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, May 16 reveals Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is Aristotle Dumas’ attorney.
Also coming up, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) won’t be happy to encounter Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Plus, Devon Winters (Bryton James), Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will get a surprise. And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will try to reign in Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Y&R spoilers tease Nate, Lily and Devon will all show up at Society. They’ll tell each other they each got a text from Aristotle Dumas, asking to meet there. Then Amanda will walk in. “What are you doing back in town?” Lily will ask.
Nate will say they’re just getting ready for a meeting and Lily will tell her they’re not even sure if the person is showing up. Amanda will say they already have. “You’re not about to tell us that you are Aristotle Dumas? Are you?” Devon will ask.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sharon Will Say Their Discussion Looked Tense
She’ll say she’s not Mr. Dumas, but she represents him and she’s there to answer all their questions. So, they’ll ask if she’s met him in person and she’ll say she has. Devon will say Aristotle Dumas is clearly a fake name. “So can you tell us who he really is and what he wants with our company?”
Amanda will tell him her boss has no interest in Winters. “He admired Neil Winters very much and believes your business perfectly embodies Neil.” Devon will ask if he knew Neil and Amanda will say Dumas respects many different people. Devon will ask her again who Dumas is. “He is who he claims to be and that’s all anyone needs to know,” she’ll reply.
“Why should we trust any of this?” Nate will ask. “How are we to take your word that he’s not going after Winters?” Amanda will say Dumas has one focus in Genoa City and she suspects it’ll please them, especially Lily. He’s interested in only one company, Chancellor Industries.
She’ll add he was offended by what Victor did to Lily and the bottom line is Dumas isn’t interested in Winters. Amanda will tell them he respects all of them tremendously. Devon will say to tell her boss thanks for all the compliments but they’ll keep their eyes open anyway.
At the lookout, Nick will tell Phyllis she’s going to get through this. “We could brainstorm your new venture with Daniel, we could go see a movie.” Or, he could give her space if that’s what she wants. “I don’t want that, I like you being there,” Phyllis will reply, putting her hand on his face.
Then Sharon will come along. “Your conversation looked a little intense,” she’ll say. They’ll lie and say they were just talking about their daughter. Sharon will look a little jealous and say she’s making lasagna for dinner and invite Nick over.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nick Asks Billy Why He Fired Phyllis
But he’ll get a text and say he has to get going. Phyllis will thank him for today and all of it. After he leaves, Sharon will ask Phyllis what she was thanking Nick for. “It’s a kind of weird question, don’t you think,” Phyllis will reply. Sharon will want to know what she needed support on. Phyllis will get a text from Amanda, asking to meet, and she’ll say she has to get going.
Meanwhile, Billy will complain to Sally about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). “We can’t keep having the same conversation,” she’ll tell him, echoing the thoughts of every viewer. “No more, enough is enough.”
Billy will tell Sally he can’t help it. So, she’ll make him take off his socks and shoes and touch the grass with his feet. She’ll tell him to take a deep breath and listen to the sounds at the park. “Take all of your thoughts and push them together like a pile of leaves. Let the wind take them far away.”
Billy will start to feel better, until Nick comes along and asks him why he fired Phyllis. “You put an opportunity in front of Phyllis’ face and then you yanked it away,” he’ll add. “It’s a pretty crappy thing to do to somebody who claims to be your friend.”
But Billy will say she’s not in a place to work at Abbott Communications and he did her a favor. But Nick will say she has proved herself a million times over. “It’s time you start showing her the respect she deserves.” Then Phyllis will come along and smile, when she hears Nick defending her.
Finally, Phyllis will arrive at Society and she and Amanda will hug. She’ll ask what she’s doing in town. “It’s partially because of you,” Amanda will reply. “Why the hell are you trying to contact Aristotle Dumas?”
